What are we talking about here? Quantum compliance?! Wave particle duality? Superposition?? Entanglement???  NO.  well, yes...  I could nerd out and draw parallels to what we're about and all things Quantum but I would embarrass myself and insult your intelligence.  As a man in his 50's with a 5 year old daughter, I found myself struggling to teach her life lessons and start her college fund so late in my game.  One morning we spotted a piece of iron sticking out of some construction rubble carelessly dumped by the road.  Ironically, this was less than 300 yards from our local scrap yard. I refrained from my normal tirade about litter-bugs and a quick lesson about opportunity was born. She made three dollars and 50 cents.  Moments later it was dribbling down her chin in the form of chocolate ice cream.  ​

She learned about small effort and positive results as I started scanning the roadside for more folding money.  As we progress on our journey, she will learn about how hard work produces good luck, the difference between trash and treasure, independent thought and resiliency (by putting up with her old man's schemes & capers).  The profits earned get deposited into her 529 college fund so that she will have a little scratch to operate with if she decides to go that route. I aim to teach her about money, tools, resources and most importantly, people. If all else fails, maybe she will realize how important it is to stay in school.
